Bruno Taut (Königsberg, May 4, 1880 - Istanbul, December 24, 1938) was a German architect and urban planner.
Bruno Taut can be counted among the great architects of the first half of the twentieth century. Brother of Max Taut, also an architect, he trained first by working with Bruno Möhring and then with Theodor Fischer until 1909, when he started his own professional activity. In 1912 he won the competition for the pavilion of the Deutschen Stahlwerksverband in Leipzig, achieving great success. The pavilion known as Glaspavillon dates back to 1914, ......
