Frank Lloyd Wright (Richland Center, June 8, 1867 - Phoenix, April 9, 1959) was an American architect, urban planner and architectural theorist, one of the most influential of the twentieth century.

His figure is also remembered for his temperament prone to challenges and to the discovery of new cultural and artistic horizons.
