30 St Mary Ax is a building in London, located in the City. It is informally known as "The Gherkin" (the cucumber) or, referring to the owner (the Swiss Re insurance group) as the Swiss Re Building. 180 m tall, he is famous for his bold architecture, the work of Norman Foster and his former partner, Ken Shuttleworth.
