Sanskar Kendra is a museum located in Ahmedabad
, India. Designed by the architect Le Corbusier in 1956, it is a museum dedicated to the culture, art, history and architecture of the city. The building is located at the intersection of the Sardar bridge over the Sabarmati river.
The museum is located on pilotis. Entering from below we cross an inner courtyard with a swimming pool and a ramp that leads to the finds. On the roof there are 45 water retention basins in which plants grow. The exterior of the building in the structural part is in exposed concrete, the masonry walls are in red brick.
