The architect Frank Lloyd Wright created the Taliesin West School of Architecture in 1937, and remained there until his death 1959, at the age of 91. Today it houses the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.
Wright created his own school of architecture in Scottsdale (Arizona), in the desert. The current building includes the winter house, the office and the architecture school, all designed by Wright. Acclaimed as one of his masterpieces, this complex expresses Wright's educational theories and his view of society, as well as his architectural concepts.
