Rudolf Michael Schindler (Vienna, 10 September 1887 – 1953) was an Austrian architect.
In 1911 Schindler graduated in engineering and during the following year at the Academy, he designed a Crematorium and a Chapel for a city of four million inhabitants, writing a manifesto for the occasion to announce that a “new problem” had arisen for architecture: “that of Space”.
