Henri Ciriani

French architect (Lima, 30 December 1936)

Henri Ciriani (Lima, 30 December 1936) is a French architect born in Peru to a family of Italian origin (Spilimbergo, Friuli).

Having emigrated from Peru to France in 1964, he began working at the studio of André Gomis (1965-1968). He later joined the Atelier d'urbanisme et d'architecture (AUA), a famous multidisciplinary studio in Bagnolet. In 1982, he opened his own studio. He has worked mainly on social housing and museographic projects. He taught design at UP7 and then at UP8 (now EAPB) where he founded the UNO group.
