Arata Isozaki (磯崎新 Isozaki Arata; 23 July 1931 – 29 December 2022) was a Japanese architect from Ōita Prefecture.
A graduate of the University of Tokyo in 1954, he studied under Kenzo Tange and worked in his studio. In 1963, he founded the "Arata Isozaki Atelier," which today is called "Arata Isozaki & Associates." Isozaki won the RIBA Gold Medal in 1986.
