SELECTION OF BUILDINGS THAT HAVE FOLLOWED THE CONSTRUCTIVE PRINCIPLES OF BIOARCHITECTURE AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY on a national scale
The 2019 SUSTAINABILITY AWARD this year reaches its eighth edition and involves the whole national territory. The Award, organized by AESS in collaboration with the Azero Magazine | Edicom Edizioni for the Audience Award, aims to enhance and disseminate the good practices of building through the selection of
architectures built that have followed the construction principles of bio-architecture and energy efficiency: respect for and integration with the natural environment, control of energy consumption, the use of non-polluting and harmless materials and techniques for human health, social and economic sustainability, innovation. The Award is part of the broader Three-Year Building Project supported by local foundations.
CATEGORIES
The award covers both new projects and those relating to the redevelopment of the existing, public or private, divided into two categories:
1. EX-NOVO BUILDING
2. BUILDING RENOVATIONS AND / OR RESTORATION
The works must have been carried out on the national territory in the last five years.
One will also be awarded
SPECIAL MENTION HOME AUTOMATION and other mentions will be awarded to projects deemed, in the opinion of the jury, worthy for other particular aspects.
HOW TO APPLY FOR A PROJECT
Participation is free.
REGISTRATION FOR THE AWARD BY MONDAY 13 MAY 2019: submit the project
by 11.59 pm by clicking on the 'registration form' button.
SENDING REQUESTED DOCUMENTATION BY WEDNESDAY 19 JUNE 2019: send to
AESS all the material requested following the procedures indicated in the Announcement.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
Individual or associated freelancers, technical firms, architectural or engineering firms, engineering companies, ATI, Public Administrations can participate; each individual candidate or group can participate with one or more projects carried out.
AWARDS AND AWARDS
The winners selected by the technical jury will be given
PLATES which certify the award of the Prize.
AESS in collaboration with Azero Magazine | EdicomEdizioni will also award a
AUDIENCE AWARD 2019 via an online survey.
The ceremony of
AWARDS and the
PRESENTATION of the winning projects will be held on the occasion of the event: “
BIOARCHITECTURE AND SUSTAINABILITY WEEK 2019” scheduled from 18 to 22 November 2019.
VISIBILITY OF PROJECTS
The Organization of the Award aims to give maximum visibility to all projects in all forms and through the media that it deems useful for this purpose, always highlighting the authorship of the works. In particular, the participating projects may possibly also be the subject of paper / digital publications and / or exhibitions.
In addition, for the award of the 2019 Audience Award, all participating projects (with suitable material) will be viewable on the appropriate web page.
Furthermore, the designers will be given particular visibility through the website, publications, and exhibition panels, which will collect some participating and winning projects.
