The event is structured as an open talk, a dialogue between Italy and Japan in which, starting from the themes evoked by the book “Kenzo Tange. The years of the formal revolution 1940-1970” (Kenzo Tange Gli anni della rivoluzione formale 1940/1970 – FrancoAngeli Milano, 2021 – written by the authors Giusi Ciotoli and Marco Falsetti), then taken up by the NAMA exhibition “TANGE KENZO 1938-1970: From Pre-war period to Olympic Games and World Expo”, it will be possible to discuss a wider range of themes in order to identify some recurring constants of Japanese architecture.
