Bank defense intervention with wickerwork; this is a linear stabilizing arrangement on the bank, composed of a weave of rods, fixed to the ground with wooden stakes and then buried. The arrangement of the wickerwork can be in horizontal or crossed rows to form a construction of diamonds or squares. To be effective, it must be made with living material with the capacity to emit adventitious roots.
