Block houses 02
Typical floor plan at 1:100 scale
Typical floor plan of a block house.
A block house (or courtyard house) is a multi-family residential building where the apartments, distributed over several floors, are grouped around a central open courtyard. This building type, which can be seen as an articulation of a house online, has a larger building and a greater number of apartments per floor.
The central courtyard serves a distribution function, providing access to the various residential units.
