Heliports - Helipads
Heliport, or helidrome or heliport, is an area designed and equipped for the take-off and landing of helicopters only, equipped with structures for the shelter and often also for the refueling of the aircraft. It can consist of one or more landing points, called aprons, and can have accessory service facilities such as buildings for staff and passengers, lighting, a windsock for measuring wind strength and, in larger heliports, hangars for parking the aircraft.
Helipad is an airfield intended for the exclusive use of helicopters, which is not a heliport. The minimum size of the landing and take-off area must be at least one and a half times the distance between the extreme points of the helicopter with the rotors in motion. Source: Wikipedia
