Production laboratories 01

Project scheme dwg at scale 1:100 (meters)

Design plan for a complex intended for manufacturing activities and artisan workshops.
It is organized as a multifunctional space capable of integrating manual processes, digital production, and shared operating areas. The internal layout is designed to promote continuity between the different phases of the production process. Furthermore, a clear separation is maintained between the technical areas, specialized workspaces, and service areas.

The floor plan develops around a large central area dedicated to the main laboratories.
This area houses the digital lab, the computer and 3D printer room, the textile processing spaces, and the carpentry workshop. These spaces are organized to allow for flexible use of workstations. Furthermore, central tables and shared work surfaces facilitate collaborative activities, technical training, and prototype development.

Adjacent to the digital areas is the cutting plotter lab, designed for precision machining and the production of graphic elements or technical components. The server room highlights the integration between technological infrastructure and production operations, ensuring the IT support necessary for digital processing.

The project also includes a large metalworking workshop, equipped with specialized machinery such as a vertical band saw, a horizontal band saw, a welding bench, and a material storage area. The equipment is arranged to optimize workflows, improving safety during cutting, assembly, and metalworking operations.

The carpentry shop is configured as a complete workspace, with an assembly table, workbenches, and areas dedicated to woodworking. Its proximity to the digital laboratories allows for seamless integration between CAD design, prototyping, and physical production of the components.

The project also includes support areas such as a staff lounge, restrooms, a break area, and meeting spaces. These elements help make the complex functional for both professional activities and teaching and shared laboratories. The large common area with a meeting table and chairs can be used for operational meetings, technical briefings, or training activities.

Thanks to the clarity of its layout and the detailed representation of furnishings and equipment, this drawing provides a useful basis for design studies relating to fab labs, makerspaces, technology laboratories, professional training centers, craft incubators, or multidisciplinary production spaces.
DWG can be used as a reference for the functional organization of spaces, the definition of operational flows, and the design of contemporary laboratories integrated between manual and digital production.
