Design scheme for an open space living area, divided into two alternative solutions which interpret the relationship between kitchen, dining area and living roomBoth versions include a guest bathroom and laundry room.
Solution 1 – Linear kitchen plus large lounge peninsula with a work surface, a storage base accessible from both sides, and a lowered top that extends into a dining table. The peninsula acts as a hinge between the kitchen and the relaxation area, becoming an operational and convivial hub.
Solution 2 – This proposal adopts a vision teacher, where the kitchen is no longer an “area” but a integrated volume system which continues in the living room, generating an effect of continuityThe wall appears as a single articulated volume, which hosts all the functions: kitchen, TV entertainment, fireplace and relaxation.
