The layout for a medical office includes a space dedicated to the doctor's administrative and consulting activities, with the desk positioned so that the doctor can welcome patients from the front (with at least one or two chairs in front of the desk for patients or family members accompanying them).
If space permits, more comfortable armchairs can be added for short waits or longer conversations.
The examination area must be positioned to ensure privacy and comfort for the patient. If the floor plan allows it, it would be ideal to separate the area with a partial partition, a screen or a curtain, especially in the case of single-room offices where there is no real separate room.
