The technique of palisade in timber with cuttings and / or with seedlings is a system similar to the viminata, which combines the use of cuttings with fixed wooden structures for stabilizing slopes and natural or artificial slopes in disarray.
With this system we tend to revive the escarpments through the formation of small linear steps, supported by the wooden structures, which run along the level curves of the slope and where, upstream, earthy material is collected. The plants, once the vegetation has developed, will guarantee a consolidation of the soil with the root system and a resistance to superficial erosion, with their epigeal part.
