Technical Description
Self-priming progressive cavity pump for transporting destemmed and crushed grapes.
The pumping unit consists of a stainless steel rotor and a rubber stator suitable for food contact. The rotor is formed by a single-start screw with round thread that rotates in the stator which is a female spiral with two starts. The two elements, engaging each other, form cavities that represent the chambers conveying the liquid. Thanks to these characteristics, the Kappa single-screw pump reduces stress on the solid parts of the pumped product.
Single screw pump on wheels, with feed hopper, parts in contact with the product in AISI 304 stainless steel and food grade rubber. Level sensor for automatic start in the presence of product. Temperature sensor on the pump stator. The pump is equipped with an electrical panel.
