A cycle path (or cycle path) is a protected route or otherwise reserved for bicycles, where motorized traffic is generally excluded. The purpose of these routes is to separate cycling traffic from motorized and pedestrian traffic, which have different speeds, to improve road safety and facilitate the movement of vehicles. Due to the greater safety of cyclists, they also play the role of instrument for moving mobility quotas from the private motorized vehicle to the bicycle, thus reducing congestion and pollution.
