Architect Frank Lloyd Wright created the Taliesin West School of Architecture in 1937, and remained there until his death in 1959, at the age of 91. Today it houses the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.
Wright created his own architecture school in Scottsdale (Arizona), in the desert. The current building includes the winter house, office and architecture school, all designed by Wright. Acclaimed as one of his masterpieces, this complex expresses Wright's educational theories and his vision of society, as well as his architectural concepts.
