Architect Frank Lloyd Wright created the School of Architecture at Taliesin West in 1937, and remained there until his death in 1959 at the age of 91. Today it houses the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.

Wright created his own school of architecture in Scottsdale, Arizona, in the desert. The current building includes the winter house, office, and architecture school, all designed by Wright. Hailed as one of his masterpieces, this complex expresses Wright's educational theories and his vision of society as well as his architectural concepts.
