Kenroku-en Garden in Kanazawa
One of the three most beautiful Japanese gardens
Located in Ishikawa Prefecture, the Kenrokuen in Kanazawa It is famous for being one of the most beautiful examples of a Japanese garden. In fact, in addition to its large size, it is distinguished by the numerous shrub species and the rich vegetation present within it.
Like many of the green spaces in Japan, Kenroku-en is a very well-kept park, where attention to detail is combined in perfect harmony with the rigorous respect for the environment.
The spaces are characterised by orderly and winding internal paths interspersed with areas intended for rest, small artificial hills on which small temples stand aimed at recreating private spaces for prayer.
