Koraku-en Garden in Okayama
One of the three most beautiful Japanese gardens
This is one of the three most illustrious gardens in the entire Japanese territory. The Koraku-en garden consists of a large green area, capable of blending natural elements and architectural artifacts in a perfect equilibrium.
The park is distributed around a large body of water within which there are bridges, artificial islands and small waterfalls.
The Koraku-en complex is conceived as zen space, where man can meditate and find himself by spending moments of relaxation inside large pavilions.
The latter, thanks to the use of sustainable construction techniques and the large openings create a continuum between inside and outside, fitting into the surrounding environment without distorting it.
There are numerous green species of rare beauty and paths created with stones and pebbles, thanks to which it will be possible to walk through the entire garden and enjoy the numerous context views surrounding.
In Koraku-en Garden, it is essential to take a break among the tea houses and ponds along the banks of which you can observe numerous carp swimming.
Splendid during all seasons of the year, in the evening the spectacular lights flood the spaces creating magical plays and contrasts.
The added value is represented by the castle of the city that deserves a visit.
