Grand Stand Arena at Foro Italico

Located inside the Foro Italico, the Grand Stand Arena is part of a complex that also includes the Stadio Olimpico, the Stadio dei Marmi, the Central Tennis Stadium lo Nicola Pietrangeli Stadium and Olympic swimming stadium.
La Grand Stand Arena It is the second largest stadium in the Foro Italico sports complex in Rome, after the Stadio Centrale del Tennis. The clay court is used for the Internazionali BNL d'Italia, one of the most prestigious tournaments on the ATP and WTA circuits.
The plant was inaugurated in 2012 as SuperTennis Arena, over time it has undergone several renovations reaching a capacity of 6.550 seats.
The modular structure was made with 800 tons of steel and recycled PVC cladding.
Designed to be adaptable to different events, the south curve can be transformed into a stage for concerts and other events. In addition to tennis, the Grand Stand Arena has hosted international events such as the 2019 Beach Volleyball World Tour Finals.
The arena is equipped with a meshled, a network of steel wires with over 2 million individually controlled light points, creating unique visual effects.
