Textures for rendering

In architecture, grid and grate textures are used for a variety of functional and aesthetic purposes.
Examples of use:

for ventilated facades to improve energy efficiency;
for solar screens to reduce solar heating;
for industrial or parking floors to allow water drainage;
in pedestrian areas or parks where effective stormwater management is required, drainage grates can be integrated into the landscape design to blend in with the environment;
