Torre Velasca in Milan – After Restoration (2025)
Second photo gallery ten years after the first publication
After first photo gallery published in 2015 on Archweb.com, we wanted to document the Torre Velasca ten years later, in 2025, on the occasion of the completion of the restoration and cleaning works on the facades.
The intervention has given new readability and brilliance to the materials, highlighting the peculiarities of the architecture and the expressive language of the BBPR group. In this second series of images we wanted to capture the renewed details, the new interactions with the urban context and the atmospheres of the tower in its current state.
This work was born from the desire to document the transformation of a Milanese icon, following its life and evolution over time. The Torre Velasca continues to be a visual and cultural reference point for the city, and we hope that this second gallery can also contribute to its valorization.
