Reviews
A great portal!
Sooner or later we all pass by Archweb. It is simply one of the most complete CAD blocks and drawings libraries around. Its site offers hundreds of drawings of different scales and types, from furniture to plans of various building types, through symbols, fills and silhouettes.
A nice review
“They are all there: Shigeru, Tadao, Odile, Renzo, Santiago, Massimiliano, Norman, Frank, Rem, Kazuyo, Zaha……
Yet it is not the last series on “The great architects” that “cannot be missing from your library. From Saturday the first issue is free with the newspaper. Ask for it at the newsstand!”
If you study (or have studied) architecture and the like, you don't simply know the men and women who are the protagonists of LESS OR MORE as prominent figures in the sector. By dint of buying monographs, studying their construction details or visiting their exhibitions (and Biennials) it is almost natural to come to consider them life companions, on a par with the friend with whom you share (or have shared) days and nights between drawings, renderings and models. And perhaps this was the intuition of the creator or creators of what is probably one of the most shared Facebook pages of the last 24 hours: to make them talk as we talk, about what we talk about.
The formula is that of the black and white portrait on a black background with a ritual quote. The surprise is the content: no sensational declarations to be repeated in sæcula sæculorum, but open-hearted confessions, on the edge of the space-time paradox and in which many can identify. We have never been so similar, not even the time we drew from one of their projects considering it much more of a “conceptual reference”. They too, the archistars of yesterday and today, reveal human frailties or preferences in representation via social networks, as if they really spent days drawing! When faced with overheating of the PC they insert a life-saving fan, they resort to stratagems if they are dealing with technical issues – not the highest systems, I am referring to stairs and toilets, eh! – and, as if they were on the sofa of some Saturday afternoon TV show, here they are revealing secrets of taste – not exactly compositional – and the latest moves to place themselves on the job market.”

The best site to download CAD blocks in dwg format
According to many CAD designers, the best site ever to download Autocad blocks is Archweb, thanks to the impressive amount of excellent quality DWG files, both in 2D and 3D. The Drawings are divided into easily identifiable categories and the previews that can be seen on the screen before downloading are truly excellent.
Gabriele Costa on the monthly magazine “L'Ufficio Tecnico”
One of the most complete reviews of Archweb.it was that of Gabriele Costa in the monthly magazine of Building and Urban Planning Techniques “L'UFFICIO TECNICO”
Archweb.it is a web container of tools for architecture, therefore it wants to address all professionals of design and project, to provide practical support made of advice, examples and above all drawings that can facilitate all phases of architectural design.
Technicians such as architects, engineers, surveyors, but also university students or simple enthusiasts, can find on archweb.it the most diverse design experiences, which can provide stimuli, ideas, suggest new creativity. Archweb.it can also be defined as a portal for architecture where you can navigate on various themes, from the latest important Italian and international architectural creations, to textures, from geometry to design, from construction detail to urban planning, from CAD to rendering.
The mission of Archweb.it is to be at the service of all those interested in the topic of building, professionals and non-professionals, by continuously providing useful and mostly free tools to facilitate and improve the quality of the work of the architectural project, which is now increasingly complex and given increasingly shorter deadlines.
