The Triton fountain is located in Rome in Piazza Barberini. It is the work of Gian Lorenzo Bernini, to whom it was commissioned by Pope Urban VIII Barberini, as part of the overall works for the arrangement of the palace that the pontiff had built in 1625 and of the square on which it overlooked.
