Improve your BIM workflow with the Dynamo Revit plug-in

Dynamo is an open source software platform created and designed to allow the development of computational projects and the optimization of three-dimensional modeling works

Dynamo is a visual programming tool used to define relationships and create algorithms that can then be used to generate geometry in 3D space and process data. The first obstacle to overcome is understanding how to build distinct relationships that, once created, can be put together to create a powerful workflow. To do this you have to think like a programmer. After all, Dynamo is also (mostly) a programming language.

What is Dynamo Revit?
Dynamo is an open source software platform created and designed to allow the development of computational projects and the optimization of three-dimensional modeling works based on the use of BIM, Building Information Modeling procedures. Dynamo's strength lies in its ease of use. Thanks to a simple and intuitive visual interface, it is in fact possible to elaborate and manage complex logical functions, automating work flows and facilitating the development of design solutions.

What are the uses and functions of Dynamo Revit?
Dynamo allows Revit users to create personalized digital tools with which to face (and solve) modeling challenges in a smarter and faster way. With Dynamo Revit it is possible to generate specific algorithms to analyze, read and modify data from external sources, create geometry within the Dynamo ecosystem or modify geometry in Revit files, all using visual language based on the concept of node

By using a Dynamo Plugin it is possible to obtain

  • faster interaction in design and wider interoperability;
  • faster and more intuitive scripting thanks to a user interface specifically designed to facilitate the design work;
  • work on all the latest versions of Autodesk Revit 2017, 2018 and 2019 thanks to a clearly improved compatibility between different software and programs
