Mart Stam – Row House n° 28-29-30 Weissenhof, Stuttgart, Germany, 1927

Stam contributed with this series of terraced houses to the construction of the Weissenhof district in 1927, the permanent home project developed and presented by the exhibition Die Wohnung ("The dwelling"), organized by the Deutscher Werkbund in Stuttgart. This put him in the company of Le Corbusier, Peter Behrens, Bruno Taut, Hans Poelzig and Walter Gropius and the exhibition counted up to 20,000 visitors per day.
