Sydney Opera House

Jørn Utzon – Sydney Opera House, Sydney Australia, 1956-1973

The Sydney opera house (the Sydney Opera House, in English) is one of the most significant architectures built in the 20th century and is almost an icon not only for the city of Sydney, where it stands, but for the Australia itself.
The project is by Danish architect Jørn Utzon, supported by structural calculations by London-based engineering company Arup.
