This system favors the greening of slopes through the formation of fixed timber structures, which have the function of forming small terraces upstream of which the soil is collected. In this way, along the contour lines, a more resistant structure is created, in which dense "combs" of cuttings and / or rooted seedlings are buried. The development of the root system guarantees the consolidation of the soil, while the aerial part helps to contain surface erosion.
