Terraced steps with cuttings (bush arrangement according to Schiechtl).
This system provides for a bed of cuttings, placed like a comb, of woody plants with good vegetative reproduction capacity (willows, tamarisks, poplars and other species) on the bottom of the excavation, in numbers varying from 10 to 30 per meter linear. The cuttings, covered with the ground of the trench of the upper step, must have a minimum length of about 100 cm with stem diameters of about 1- 7 cm and must protrude outwards by about 1/4 of their length.
