Is automation finally reaching our desks?

If only a few years ago we believed that technology (including robots) could replace the work done by humans, apart from design specs and some “creative” aspects, we were wrong.

The algorithm Finch generates different spatial configurations based on predetermined parameters as you modify the total area of the space.

The algorithm Finch generates different spatial configurations based on predetermined parameters as you modify the total area of the space. The purpose of the algorithm is to help us make informed decisions in the early stages of building design and planning.
The algorithm was developed by BOX Bygg and Wallgren Arkitekter, it is written in Grasshopper for now.
