Mario Botta – Single-family house in Morbio Superiore, Switzerland, 1982-1984

Located on a slope between the hill and the town, the house shows a concave facade, facing south, characterized by a brick texture that alternates smooth courses with courses placed at 45 degrees, in silver color.
The unity of the main front is divided into two volumes by a slit that creates a rectangular atrium at the bottom and ends with a skylight that illuminates the two upper floors from above.
