On the occasion of the exhibition “Bauhaus,” held at the National Gallery of Modern Art (GNAM) in Rome between Nov. 20 and Dec. 5, 1961, Prof. Emilio Garroni, a lecturer in aesthetic philosophy, interviewed Walter Gropius, who was the director of the celebrated design school active in Weimar in the 1920s. The excerpt is from the RAI program “Arts and Sciences.” In the very interesting clip, architectural historian Bruno Zevi is also recognized.
